Here, Everyday Life &
Conscious Aging Is Celebrated & Shared
(With Occasional, Outrageous and Insightful Crone-Tri-Butions)
The "Kalanemi" or Rim of the Great Star Wheel of Time
at the edge of the universe was thought to embody the spirit of the zodiac, and was sometimes depicted as a World Serpent
circling the earth, tail in mouth. One had to study the Kalanemi in order to learn "kalends", the chronological order
of the seasons and festivals as the great star wheel turned. They were the New Moon Sabbaths of ancient Latinium. The
lunar calendar was used in Saxon England where the month of May was known as "SproutKale", the sprouting time of
Virgin Mother earth with her archaic name of Kale, Kelle, or Kali. "Nemi" in Greco Roman culture meant Moon-grove. The
ancient astrologers viewed the zodiac/star wheel as the sacred Moon grove thru which She traveled. Here, you will find that the "everyday" and every crone/cronie's story counts as important. All are invited to
join the Moon and I as we change, laugh, cry and celebrate during our journey around the Star Wheel of the ancient Moon-grove.
A Woman's journey from Birth, throughout her
Maiden and Motherhood years, winding its way through many Lunar Phases and Progressions towards Cronedom can
be a journey of empowerment for the woman who challenges stereotypes and chooses to embrace her personal uniqueness as it
unfolds. No one who has lived long enough to experience their Uranus Opposition (when transiting Uranus opposes
it's natal position) is exempt from experiencing mid-life transits. However, all can benefit from greeting such life
transitions as a cosmic opportunity to begin to balance the left and right (male/female) side of our brains, which
in turn helps us to begin to understand and heal ourselves, one another, our relationships and our communities.

New Moon Dreamboards II
Time & Date to be announced
In The Studio, at The Herb Wyfe
The monthly New Moon is a perfect time to begin envisioning any dreams you'd like to bring
to fruition. We'll be covering the meaning of the 12 signs and houses of the zodiac, how they correspond to different
areas of our lives, as well as discovering which house in your Natal chart each New Moon falls in for the year. We
will then explore how one can "plant" a whole year's worth of New Moon "seeds" by creating personal & unique dreamboards
that reflect our individual dreams, hopes and wishes.
Please bring a blank posterboard, a notebook, old or new magazines, your natal chart and
fondest dreams. Scissors, glue and additional old magazines will be supplied. Don't have a natal chart yet? Just let
me know and I can have one ready for you at the time of class. Cost for class: $40. Class & chart
$45.
NOTE: It has come to my attention that Anna Livanos, who is not known to me and is based
in Australia recently launched a website called starcrone.net. While I appreciate and respect the work she does (energetic
healing) she is not affiliated with my website.

Missed Me? Blame it on the UCONN Huskies
Thursday, March 3, 2005 - Last Qtr. Moon Phase
- 12:37 pm (EST)
MOON 13SAG14 squares the SUN 13PISCES14'
This Last Qtr. Moon in Sag falls in my natal 10th house, so I've been
busy with charts and putting together an ad that will appear in the Professional Directory of the June/July issue of The Mountain
Astrologer Magazine. TMA puts an incredible amount of work and creative genius into their publication, and I've enjoyed reading
it for many years now. I've also found their staff to be very personable and supportive. Please make sure to pick up
a copy when it comes out!
This Jupiter ruled Moon may find any efforts towards trying to
"Git Er Done" challenged by the Neptune ruled Sun in Pisces who would perhaps much rather take a bubble bath, a nap, or strum
sad music on the guitar. With the Jupiter square Mars aspect today adding a feeling of too much to do and too
little time to do it in, the key is to not overdo, to find constructive outlets and hit the hot tub afterwards to unwind.
With Transneptune Cupido and Nostalgia nearby (the Moon) you may find a loved one wanting to share/reminisce with you about
old times and family history, but they also might feel it would be too painful to talk about. Take time for a walk together.
Sometimes just being present is enough. The words will come later when they're ready, perhaps even as soon as Saturday when
Chiron sextiles Mercury lending it's healing influence to conversations and relationships.
For me, the challenge last nite was trying to clean the kids' fish tank
(10 gallons for one elderly catfish) while trying to watch the game and cheer on my favorite team the UCONN Huskies from the
kitchen. In the end, UCONN (vs. Georgetown)won, I managed not to drop the tank, or lose "Fred" down the drain. Finally,
lest any of you think I've dropped the ball by not posting more frequently as
of late, let's just say that here in CT we take basketball season and March Madness VERY seriously - LOL! As ever
