Here, Everyday Life &
Conscious Aging Is Celebrated & Shared
(With Occasional, Outrageous and Insightful Crone-Tri-Butions)
The "Kalanemi" or Rim of the Great Star Wheel of Time
at the edge of the universe was thought to embody the spirit of the zodiac, and was sometimes depicted as a World Serpent
circling the earth, tail in mouth. One had to study the Kalanemi in order to learn "kalends", the chronological order
of the seasons and festivals as the great star wheel turned. They were the New Moon Sabbaths of ancient Latinium. The
lunar calendar was used in Saxon England where the month of May was known as "SproutKale", the sprouting time of
Virgin Mother earth with her archaic name of Kale, Kelle, or Kali. "Nemi" in Greco Roman culture meant Moon-grove. The
ancient astrologers viewed the zodiac/star wheel as the sacred Moon grove thru which She traveled. Here, you will find that the "everyday" and every crone/cronie's story counts as important. All are invited to
join the Moon and I as we change, laugh, cry and celebrate during our journey around the Star Wheel of the ancient Moon-grove.
A Woman's journey from Birth, throughout her
Maiden and Motherhood years, winding its way through many Lunar Phases and Progressions towards Cronedom can
be a journey of empowerment for the woman who challenges stereotypes and chooses to embrace her personal uniqueness as it
unfolds. No one who has lived long enough to experience their Uranus Opposition (when transiting Uranus opposes
it's natal position) is exempt from experiencing mid-life transits. However, all can benefit from greeting such life
transitions as a cosmic opportunity to begin to balance the left and right (male/female) side of our brains, which
in turn helps us to begin to understand and heal ourselves, one another, our relationships and our communities.

New Moon Dreamboards II
Time & Date to be announced
In The Studio, at The Herb Wyfe
The monthly New Moon is a perfect time to begin envisioning any dreams you'd like to bring
to fruition. We'll be covering the meaning of the 12 signs and houses of the zodiac, how they correspond to different
areas of our lives, as well as discovering which house in your Natal chart each New Moon falls in for the year. We
will then explore how one can "plant" a whole year's worth of New Moon "seeds" by creating personal & unique dreamboards
that reflect our individual dreams, hopes and wishes.
Please bring a blank posterboard, a notebook, old or new magazines, your natal chart and
fondest dreams. Scissors, glue and additional old magazines will be supplied. Don't have a natal chart yet? Just let
me know and I can have one ready for you at the time of class. Cost for class: $40. Class & chart
$45.
NOTE: It has come to my attention that Anna Livanos, who is not known to me and is based
in Australia recently launched a website called starcrone.net. While I appreciate and respect the work she does (energetic
healing) she is not affiliated with my website.

The Gipsy Kings - (spelled with an "i")
Well, you know you're really getting over the hill when you go to a concert and act like a teen-ager, screaming, yelling,
dancing, jumping up and down and then because of strained vocal chords, and lame legs can hardly move, speak
or bite down hard on anything for a week! But...it was so worth it! As our gift to each other for Valentine's,
my husband and I treated each other to tickets (yes, at the Providence Performing Arts Center) on Feb. 18th to see The Gipsy
Kings and I'm still singing and dancing to the memory of it in my head...For those of you who don't know who these guys are
they sing in a gypsy dialect called gitane (a mix of Spanish and provincial French) and they are HOT! And young, they're NOT!
Ha! Which just goes to show ya that age is irrelative....It was so refreshing to see young and old alike thoroughly enjoying
this group's sound.
What's this got to do with astrology? Oh, probably lots if one was to take a look at the grand trine to my chart
that night involving tSun, nMercury and nNeptune. Also, my natal 4th house Venus is within a two degree conjunction
to the 11th degree of Gemini which The La Volasfera regards as "A group of gipsies, seated round a cauldron
in which food is preparing." Oh...did I also mention I love these guys?
Speaking of taking a look at transits to one's chart, if you'd like to see what's up with yours, e-mail me, give
me a call or stop by The Herb Wyfe in Wickford, RI on March 3, April 7th or 21st from 12-5 p.m. ~ Blessings, Debi

What a Wicked Good Play!
One of the highlights of January for me was taking my daughter (for her 13th birthday) to see 'WICKED'. What an
incredible performance! Wicked is the 'Wizard of Oz' as re-told by the "good and bad" witches who finally set the record straight
as well as discovering there's a little good and bad in us all. In other words, we all (including that "man behind the
curtain") need to "own our own stuff" and quit scape-goating others by projecting our shadow/dark side onto others. I've
always felt that witches have gotten a lot of bad press, so for me, this was refreshing. The stage settings were incredibly
imaginative and by far the best I've seen in any play and the Providence Performing Arts Center is a magnificent theater.
Broadway is sold out I hear until 2008, but Wicked is coming to the Bushnell in Hartford, CT in November. Do try
and get tickets somewhere and treat yourself to a wonderful event. Speaking of treats, since it's so near Valentine's
Day, why not have you and your sweetie sign up for one of my classes in February on 'Understanding Relationships through Astrology'?
Full Moon Blessings! ~ Debi (Seacrone)
