New Moon in Libra (6LIBRA33')
Sept. 29th at 4:12 am

One of the ancient symbols for the 6th degree of Libra according to "Charubel" is: "An old fashioned signboard suspended from the branch of a tree before an ancient looking wayside inn." This can indicate:  "One of a very conservative disposition; one who reveres the usages and customs of by-gone days.  An antiquarian and a relic-hunter."

As the leaves slowly turn, no doubt the leaf peepers will be hitting the roads and exploring little out of the way inns and antique shops.  That is if  anyone has any money left....Hmmm.. tho it hasn't seemed to slow down the people headed to the casinos much....

The Venus ruled New Moon is a great time to begin/renew relationships especially when striving for a more egalitarian balance, and especially so if it occurs in your natal 7th house.

Venus can also represent money, so on a more wide scale it's a propitious time for the government to try to find some sort of balance in the money sector. No doubt whatever they hatch up as a "solution" it will trickle down to the taxpayers. According to some, this could figure out to be approx. $2300 per every man woman and child.  Well, if that is the case, then we should all get to choose $2300 worth of the finest stocks to add to our own portfolios.  Sounds like a fair exchange to me. Especially for those with large families!

Full Pisces Moon - September 15th at 5:13 am at 22PISCES54'

A highly sensitive, Neptune ruled moon which can give one the opportunity to establish new links as well as cut the cords on others in order to stand on one's own feet.

One of the symbols for the 23 degrees of Pisces is:
"Spiritual Phenomena"   Keyword:  Sensitivity

"Implicit in the symbolism is the fact that individuals can be increasingly conditioned by the caprices of his ideas and the mishaps of his experiences unless he gives continual attention to the realms of reality he has thought to make his own. He achieves as he holds a clear picture of the end results he desires. "  (Sabian Symbol)

Neptune is the natural ruler of the 12th house, and when a lunation (in this case the Full moon) occurs here one may be finishing up on 12th house affairs.  It's a great opportunity to withdraw into seclusion and stillness in order to meditate (don't forget some relaxing music) and come into harmony with one's self, dreams and feelings. Once the moon having turned void of course and then into Aries at 5:39 pm (remaining in Aries until Wednesday at 8:57 pm) one can move boldly forward once again feeling more refreshed.   ~ Seacrone

Balsamic (Dark of the Moon)- Begins August 27th at 5:02 am
Moon 19CANCER28' semi-squares Sun at 4VIRGO28'
(Lasts until the Virgo New Moon on August 30th at 3:58 pm)

One of the symbols for the upcoming New Moon near 8 degrees of Virgo is: "A little girl performs a spinning dance at her first dance recital".

Well, I'm no little girl anymore but I do still love to dance and spin as does the African Goddess OYA - Yansa, the Queen of the Winds of Change, Twirling Woman. She is firm, temperamental, handsome and courageous and She is a fierce warrior and strong protectress of women, who sometime call on Her archetype to settle disputes in their favor. She is feared by many and avoided by others because of Her awesome fierceness.

She is the oldest sister of Oshun, and if you are ready to work with Oya's transformational energy during this Balsamic, Dark of the Moon time she can help bring about sudden changes and transitions. Even though stormy emotions and tempestuous circumstances may whirl around you, hang on as a chaotic clearing can make room for vibrant new growth.

Luisah Teish talks about her in her book  'Jambalaya, The Natural Woman's Book of Practical Charms and Personal Rituals' (Harper & Row):

"Oya fans her skirts and blow's the branches from the trees; should she choose to cry, torrential rains fall on the earth.  She is the Mother of the Mind. She can impart genious, restore memory or slap you with insanity.  Oya opens Her mouth, flicks out Her tongue and lightening strikes.  She has nine heads. She is the River Niger. No one can be certain of Oya's movement; no one can capture Her smile. She is the mistress of disguises; Yesterday Oya was a gentle lamb; today, a buffalo trampling the earth beneath Her feet. Tomorrow She'll be a rainbow- maybe."

Just bear in mind while doing your dark moon "work" that sometimes when a woman asserts herself, stands in her power and speaks up there are those who may call her a B.... which, if you think about it, can actually be taken as a compliment. Simply let the initials of the word stand for Being In Total Control of Herself.

Oya's number is 9 and she rules the River Niger, the Amazon, and wInd, water, fire and rainbows. Her colors are red, purple, brown and orange. Her favorite food, animals/objects are copper, red wine, eggplants, plums and grapes and her time is now, the Dark of the Moon.

Luisa Teish also shares in her book about her personal experience of OYA: "Oya flashed Her dark mirror and said, "If you wish release, Human, simply look into my mirror and change.  You who need courage....look into my mirror and change. If you desire wisdom, simply...look into my mirror and change..." "You who would seek transformation need only look into my mirror...and change!"

While the transiting moon is presently in Leo, Oya's planet Uranus (in Pisces) trined the Moon in Cancer during the beginning of this Balsamic Moon Phase. During this moon phase we move through a water ruled moon (Cancer) to a fire moon (Leo) to the Mercury ruled moon at New Moon time.  Perhaps in moving towards working more on career endeavors the "domesticated" part of you desires to cast aside some of those domestic binds and begins a whirlwind of change in order to work through and release the karmic fallout of relationships and raising children.

The New Moon in Mercury ruled Virgo can help with new starts in areas that require discipline and order, where you may get caught up in the details and finer points of the structures of your life. You might also find you become more discriminating about who you let into your life/sacred space by setting necessary limits and boundaries.

Again, always check to see which house the current moon falls in and any planetary aspects for more clues as to what's up for you personally at this time.  ~  Be Fierce!  ~  Debi

LIBRA FULL MOON - March 21st, at 2:40 pm, EDT
Moon at 01LIBRA31' opposes Sun at 01ARIES31'

Let go and manifest!  Integrate and Balance! Everything is beginning to grow anew, the days grow longer as we also begin to feel the need to grow as individuals. However, there is a Cardinal Grand Cross at work here involving Pluto, Mars, Sun and Moon that's asking us to confront any indecision and ask ourselves: What needs to be resolved? What are we finished with? Where are we ready to take the next step while also considering other's needs?

Martin  Goldsmith in his book: 'The Zodiac by Degrees' describes the degree of this Venus ruled Full Moon in Libra as: "Odysseus and his men are sailing through a channel to an unknown sea when they come upon a whirlpool, and behind it, a beautiful siren playing a lyre."  Some of his descriptive phrases for this degree are: "Going with the flow when one is going in the right direction vs. resisting dangerous undercurrents; following one's heartstrings; artistic and especially musical innovation that introduces humanity to a new level of vibration; sensitivity to ideas or inspiration that are floating in the wind."

While there may be the need to confront any fears, reclaim our power and step out in faith into the unknown, (and hopefully, if it's not raining into the warmth of the Sun's rays), it would perhaps also be wise to keep a balance between our hearts and minds.

PISCES FULL MOON/LUNAR ECLIPSE
February 20th at 10:32 pm (EST)
Moon (01VIRGO53') opposite Sun (01PISCES53')

Rose Lineman writes in her 'Eclipse Interpretation Manual', that this lunar eclipse "...stirs inner reticence and discriminating instincts.  It's orderly instinctive mode balances haphazard Piscean tendencies, and its reticent emotional mode agrees with the gentle, subdued manner symbolic of Pisces expression. "

Since eclipses occur in cycles (19 years), the last Lunar eclipse (near this degree in Virgo) was on February 20, 1989 at 1VIRGO59'.  It's helpful to think back to what was happening in your life then. Where were you?  What were you doing? You might want to think about how events from then might still be reflecting in your life now.  What awareness do you need to keep concerning this issue, and what do you need to leave behind?

Transiting planets can trigger the degrees of an eclipse for a few months after. Transiting Saturn (retrograde)at 5Virgo25' is near the Moon and is beginning to form an opposition to the Sun (exact Feb. 24th). Are there any beliefs or fears that are holding you back?  Saturn goes direct on May 2nd which can help one to figure out where they're at on their path, as well as help in eliminating what may be draining or distracting you from it.

3rd Qtr. Moon - Wednesday, January 30th at 12:03 am (EST)
Moon (09SCORPIO40') squares the Sun (9AQUARIUS40')

Any goals/projects started during the New Moon should have now peaked and fulfilled their purpose. It is now a time of re-evaluation and revision, to decide what to keep and what to throw away while maintaining what is of essential value and timeless meaning. As the "seed" from our current projects begins to develop, the vague outline of something new (that we might want to "plant " at the next New Moon Moon) begins to take shape.

With the Moon at nearly 10 degrees of Scorpio, the Sun at nearly 10 degrees of Aquarius, and Mars going direct it will be a busy time. People may find themselves asserting their individuality but also needing to respect the overall requirements of a relationship, group or family.  They may also be deciding how far one should go to please others vs. what one wants from others in their relationships.  Some may seek help through psychological insight, while others may decide a workable compromise vs. the effort a relationship takes just isn't worth it.  However, Venus (which trines Saturn on Tuesday night) is fast approaching Jupiter at 10 degrees of Capricorn lending some enjoyment and a broader perspective to things and helping relationships that have stood the test of time to remain intact.  Thursday night the Moon enters Sagittarius at 5:08 pm which can make for a delightful time for a get together with others!

FULL MOON - JULY 29th at 8:48, EDT
MOON (06AQUARIUS31) opposes SUN at (06LEO31)

The Sabian Symbol for this Full Moon (7Aquarius) is "A child is seen being born - the emergence of new mutations according to the great rhythms of the cosmos." and the Sabian Symbol for the Sun (7Leo) is "The constellations of stars shine brilliantly in the night sky; the power of basic spiritual values which refer to man's common humanity and to all enduring archetypes".

The Leo Sun is shining it's light on the Aquarian Moon asking us "what do you really want, what do you need/want to change, how do you want your world to be and how do you want to co-create it (while staying true to yourself)? Venus, which stationed retrograde on July 27th at 3Virgo gives an increased  opportunity during this Full Moon to resolve differences without being as critical and judgmental.  Jupiter trines the Sun and sextiles the Moon which stimulates the urge to expand resources, increases experiences on various levels and can help one in realizing some long cherished ambition.

Full Moon - June 30th at 9:50 am, EDT
MOON (08CAP25') opposes SUN (8CAN25')

This Capricorn Full Moon asks us all to grow up, take responsibility, and to respect our limits and those of others.

Stephanie Austin says it best in her Full Moon column in the current issue of The Mountain Astrologer Magazine: "This Full moon makes it easier for us to recognize the difference between what we are doing, what we think we should be doing, and what we really want to be doing. It offers a strong spiritual imperative for releasing family patterns or social pressures and remembering our soul intentions."

As it can tend towards feelings of isolation and being duty-bound the Capricorn Full Moon may not be the most wonderful time emotionally. However,  Capricorn is also all about ambition, so it's a great time to define a goal, and make great strides in going after it.  Since any problems with skin, teeth or bones may come to a head at this time, it's a good time to have a facial, visit the dentist or chiropractor.

"Charubel" describes the 8th degree of Capricorn as representing "A man desponding, standing on a barren plain with leaden colored clouds overhead."  And, the 9th degree of Capricorn as "A Man climbing a steep hill, a road consisting of steps; an angel form at the top giving words of good cheer with a golden crown awaiting him."

(And while I usually try to make time to share my thoughts about the current Lunation in a more timely fashion, sometimes I'm super busy and just can't be everywhere)!

FULL "BLUE MOON", May 31st at 9:03 pm EDT
Moon (10Sag12') opposite Sun (10Gemini12')

Sepharial, in his translation of La Volasfera regards the 10th degree of Sagittarius as: "A full moon shining in a clear sky." Keyword: Capacity. With the characteristics of a sympathetic and adaptable nature of superior abilities and considerable powers of assimilation (by reflected light). These faculties will be displayed with ease and grace....

The energy of this Full, Jupiter ruled Moon, may turn to warm, more romantic feelings. It's a great time for companionship, high optimism and enthusiasm. The fire energy can also help get you moving, especially on spiritual projects. Moon trine Mars in Aries helps promote self-confidence along with the ability to recognize and make the most of any opportunities that might come up. As this can be an idealistic time of working toward one's highest spiritual goals,  anything that focuses your energy for the greatest good of all concerned is a good idea. Just watch out for carelessness and perhaps ignoring the truth of a situation until it's too late.  Transiting Jupiter sextile Chiron can help us to teach/express an understanding of others based on the wisdom of our own wounded experiences.  ~  Debi

BALSAMIC MOON PHASE, Begins May 13th at 10:34 am, EDT
Moon (7Aries28') semi-squares Sun (22Taurus28')

The Sabian symbol for 8 degrees Aries is: "A woman's hat with streamers blown by the East wind". Keyword: Excitation.  "Implicit here is an unconditional & complete co-operation with every immediate trend of events whether consciously or otherwise. When positive - the continual self-orientation to nascent potentialities of life and experiences. When negative - idle posing or empty pretense of goodwill and interest."

The Sabian symbol for 23 degrees of Taurus is  "A jewelry shop: Luxury which mirrors any achievement in character or skills. Keyword: Preservation. When positive - a happy gift for shaping all visions to larger dimensions and directing all aspirations to more than trivial ends. When negative - a greediness which betrays the soul with trifles."

My take?  Don't go along just to get along. In other words, don't compromise your values/morals, or sell out just to get along with others, or for gain. This Balsamic Moon Phase might be a good time to really think about just what those true values/morals are.  With the Moon squaring Venus, and the Sun squaring Neptune we might be feeling over sensitive, that we can't quite relax around others or reveal our true feelings or beliefs, but the Moon's sextile to Mercury can ultimately help us to express ourselves with sensitivity to others by using a blend of heart and mind.  ~ Debi

FULL MOON, May 2nd at 6:10 am, EDT
Moon (11SCORPIO38') opposes Sun (11TAURUS38')

The Sabian Symbol for the Sun at 11Scorpio38 is "A woman sprinkling flowers" The keyword is Care: "This is a symbol of the soul's determination to give constant and tangible manifestation of its creative powers, and its eagerness to pour itself into every potentiality of living. There is an easy and rewarding partnership between man and nature so that a natural profusion tends to match his inner generosity of spirit."

The Sabian Symbol for the Moon is: "A drowning man rescued." Keyword: Safety. "There is here a consistent partnership between man and nature....his consciousness has a continuity through his sense of responsibility for his own creative powers. Positively used there is the inherent courage which constitutes a protection from the vicissitudes of life and when negative...a tendency to lean on transient excitement for all self-realization." ( from 'The Sabian Symbols in Astrology'  by the late Marc Edmund Jones - Sabian Publishing Society in assoc. with Shamballa Publications, Inc., Berkely, CA)

Moon (08PISCES57') semi-squares SUN(23ARIES57')

With the dreamy Moon in Pisces and Transiting Jupiter trine the Sun, this can be a generous and happy-go-lucky time of feeling lazy (or just plain tired after a long work week), kicking back, and hanging with friends/neighbors, enjoying life.

It's important during this Balsamic Moon to also spend some time on one's own to do some self nurturing/reflecting as some may now be considering/making job changes or even feeling "the call" to a certain religion. One can become more assertive now as Pluto Trines the Sun making for strong leadership abilities and being able to apply oneself to any job at hand while knowing when/where to compromise. However, with a Neptune ruled Pisces Moon, the trick in doing so is to keep your head out of the fog, your glasses on, and your “co-pilot” handy as one of the ancient symbols for this Pisces Moon is “An Aviator in the clouds”.

The Part of Love is conjunct the Moon, and the asteroids Pallas Athena and Amor. This can help with coming to terms with one’s emotional and intuitive sides, sorting out where one's real passions lie, and expressing/ pursuing one’s dreams, especially in such Neptune ruled areas as poetry, music, dance, film, spirituality. Try paying attention to your dreams over the next few days while the Moon is in Pisces as they can give you a better understanding of the spiritual side of your life.  Sweet Dreams ~  Debi

P.S. Mercury conjunct Ceres is great for those of you selling garden gloves or hand tools, but frustrating for those buying them as they may be having to wait a while for better weather to use them.

FULL MOON
April 2, 2007 at 1:15 pm, EDT
Moon at 12Libra35' opposes Sun at 12Aries35'

Balance is always necessary to keep in mind with a Venus ruled Libra Full moon. While there may be the desire to make major purchases or a tendency  towards extravagance in the love and beauty department, it is also important to keep something in reserve.

This can be a great time for those with artistic gifts, especially craftsman/carpenters, or those who deal with fabric/design to finish up any projects they may be working on.  The impatient Aries Sun in opposition to the Full Moon helps to give one the necessary impetus to keep making a living in order to keep the cash flow moving. However, be prepared for customers who perhaps can’t make up their minds which design/finish they want, or who may make last minute changes.

Aries’ thirst for adventure and forging ahead with new projects/interests may now feel held back a bit by Libra’s eternal indecisiveness, and tendency towards wanting to maintain harmony and the status quo at all costs. One should guard against being demanding and argumentive and exercise patience with one another, although businesswise Aries could learn a lot from Libra about social skills like charm and diplomacy. For some, it’s just as important to have just the right shade of paint/wallpaper or dress as it is to have the right size engine.

One of the ancient symbols for 12 degrees of Libra is: “A fair woman looking at her face in a hand mirror”, which can indicate frivolousness and lightheartedness, and for 12Aries: “A man leading 2 children by the hands” which indicates a sociable and bountiful nature with strong instincts of a domestic nature…one who delights in family relationships and feels pride in the quality of householder and husband.”

Hmmm…since she'll probably be busy with Holiday preparations this week, what’s wrong with taking the kids in hand for a while so Mom can be all “frivolous and lighthearted” for a change (and feel good about herself) by spending some time and a little $ at the spa?  Save the new vehicle purchase for the Aries New Moon on the 17th, when you might have a better chance at getting that shiny red sports car/truck/bike with the big engine and straight pipes that goes vroom vroom. You might have to get some yard work done first though as the symbol for the New Moon at 27degrees Aries is: “A man in a garden, pruning some trees.”  ~  Full Moon Blessings, Debi

Balsamic Moon

March 15, 2007

3:52 pm EDT

Moon 09Aquarius52’ semi-squares Sun 24Pisces51’

While the Moon and Mars conjunct Chiron can act as powerful advocates for humanity by lending great empathy for those who need others strength and compassion, Mars opposite Saturn can act like a cosmic traffic cop with a stop and go quality between moving forward in expressing one’s energies & holding them back. Moon conjunct Mars can also add emotional impulsiveness with the Sun squaring Jupiter tending towards over optimism and idealism. The Sun in Pisces squaring Pluto can make it difficult to control one’s emotions which may be unpredictable and explosive. In other words, think things through carefully before you act...then quit your whining and just do it! However, with Mars conjunct Neptune (which knows no boundaries) just don't go escaping off into booze or drugs. Think water sports instead.

Since Mercury sextile Pluto can indicate impatience with superficial understanding, a good use of this energy is doing some research and forming your own opinions which you can then bring back to the table for further discussion and deeper understanding. Mercury is also sextile Venus with Venus trine Pluto which can be intense but helps one communicate more easily, putting others at ease and helping to work out any relationship challenges and necessary changes demanded within them.

Venus conjunct the Midheaven (set for Stonington, CT) is a good aspect for those in the beauty/art field and is a great time to beautify/fix-up your place of business.  ~ Debi

March 3rd, 6:17 p.m. EST
Virgo Full Moon & Lunar Eclipse
Moon13VIRGO00 opposite Sun13PISCES00

The Full VIrgo Moon can have those who are normally easygoing feeling anxious, picky and overworked, while the charming Pisces Sun may be feeling restless, desiring some sort of change, perhaps wanting the Moon to escape with him to see a film, art show, concert or go on a cruise. With the Full Virgo Moon opposite the Pisces Sun it can, however, also be a time of extremes. A conflict between conscious will and an uneven mix of feelings can give rise to vagueness vs. detail, self-doubt & anxiety vs. faith & action, and giving vs. being drained. One might find themselves vacillating between feeling like they need to set limits with others and having a tough time doing so. It's not the time to make knee-jerk decisions regarding partnerships as some may be feeling stress through relationships, health & vitality, duty and hard work.  With the Lunar Eclipse opposite Uranus and the Sun, people can be running on emotion. It can be a moody time for interacting with Mothers, daughters and women friends as well as some couples feeling confined by their relationships. Sudden rifts can accompany this aspect if one does not curb impulses which are normally uncharacteristic. There is the need to act responsibly in order to avoid estrangements.

However, this can be a good opportunity to take a look at what kinds of important decisions need to be made regarding issues that may have been languishing for sometime. Having your accountant untangle your accounts, taking care of tax matters, putting things in order, cleaning up around your home environment, and looking after any issues re: health and diet (your's or your pet's) are all great ideas now.  Although this is a good time to try and save money, after taking care of business it might not be such a bad idea to help keep things in perspective by taking a short break as long as money is being spent responsibly. Just balance the check-book before taking off, guard against ill-considered extravagances while bearing in mind that Mercury is retrograde until March 8th.

Rose Lineman in her 'Eclipse Interpretation Manual',  feels a Lunar Eclipse in Virgo can manifest as: "Virgo's orderly instinctiveness balancing Piscean's haphazard tendencies since it's reticent emotional mode agrees with the gentle, subdued manner symbolic of Pisces expression."
According to Sepharial's translation of The La Volasfera, the symbol for the 13th degree of Virgo is: "A broad tract of open fields under the Moon's rays; a river winds it way through them. The life will be calm, joyous, tranquil and useful.  In character..gentle, peaceful, obliging, calm, not forceful, an influence of a very effective kind which persuades through harmony...very romantic, imaginative and will favor the fine arts, music, poetry, painting, etc." It is a degree of Harmony.

Hmmm...sounds like the watery Pisces Sun may be able to charm the Virgo Moon into "going with the flow" after all!

After a busy week, (since my husband & I have already seen our accountant), dinner out with a little music & a Limoncello at Trieste's  sounds just about right!  And, if you're looking for a great foreign film and can still find it playing anywhere, make sure and see 'Pan's Labyrinth'.

(Note: To get an idea of how this Full Moon/eclipse may be affecting you, check your natal chart to see which houses the transiting Moon and Sun fall in and any aspects they may be making to other planets/angles in your chart, or call me)!   ~  Full Moon Blessings,  Debi (seacrone)

New Moon, Feb. 17, 2007 11:14 am

 Sun & Moon at 28 Aquarius 37'

The New Moon chart set for Stonington, CT gives us an ASC of 11Gemini 22’ conjunct the Part of Fortune which indicates that clear communication and seeking of knowledge during this New Moon is vital. With Aquarius on the Mid Heaven some will be thinking of wanting to make some sort of contribution to humanity. No doubt the presidential candidates are gearing up for more speeches (better they wait until Mercury goes direct March 8th)! While Mercury (retrograde) conjunct Uranus can cause ones speech to be sudden, unusual or erratic, the Sun & Moon Sextile Pluto can help one to express themselves powerfully and in a positive manner. It also helps in renewing ones vitality. In fact, this can be a propitious time to begin to mould our lives in the manner of our choosing. Mercury, (albeit re trograde) conjunct the N. Node still makes this an excellent time for speech pathologists to be patient and slow down if need be in order to teach good communications style and breathing exercises.

Venus at 26 degrees of Pisces (whose symbol is “A new Moon that divides its influences”) is sextile (a 30 degree aspect) to Mars in Capricorn (good for joint ventures) which blends charm & assertiveness, gentleness with strength. Venus is also square Pluto so guard against being manipulative to get what you want physically or monetarily. Jupiter in Sag trines Saturn (also retrograde) making for an easy blend of enthusiasm and self control, so maintaining a balance between perseverance and moderation should be fairly easy to do. Jupiter sextiles Neptune which can help with artistic talent, and is a perfect aspect for going to a workshop, a concert, visiting an art gallery to appreciate another artist’s work, or perhaps even your own! With Saturn opposite Neptune, artists, photographers and musicians will need to maintain a blend of discipline, self-confidence, and a balance between one’s artistic and rational side in order to complete their work. Jupiter squaring Uranus sometimes indicates things don’t always come quickly.

The Sabian symbol for 29 Aquarius is “A Butterfly emerging from its chrysalis”.

Remember the words of that old song that goes: "... too much, too little, too late"? Well, the 29th degree of any sign is considered an anaretic degree, i.e. a point that having gone all the way through a sign and just getting ready to enter a new one can indicate where we may feel we are getting too much or too little of something.  In this case with the Sun and Moon nearly at 29 degrees of Aquarius getting ready to move into Pisces there may be too much or too little social life or perhaps it’s restricted by someone/something else, or perhaps the intuition is highly developed but one needs encouragement to use it.

Or, there may be too little or too much enjoyment through friendships, with one only wanting a friend and not a sweetheart. Perhaps one is feeling the other is too possessive. One thing’s for sure, the free-spirit of Aquarius cannot feel free while attempting to maintain the status quo as the result is social frustration. Therefore we are prompted to develop friendships/relationships that are fruitful and growth oriented during this New Moon!

BALSAMIC MOON PHASE

FEB. 14 - 1:02 a.m. EST
MOON 10CAPRICORN10' semi-squares SUN 25 AQUARIUS 09'

The Moon sextile Mercury and Uranus can bring sudden exciting opportunities as well as the tendency to spread oneself too thin. With Mercury now retrograde there may also be hold ups in completion of plans/communications and snafus in transportation. Care should be taken with any sort of written documents or agreements. This can be a time of tension and concern over family members or money. For instance some creative financing may be necessary in order to pay for both a winter vacation and tuition. Some older children may be ready to spread their wings and want to move out, with other family members perhaps seeing this as an opportunity for more space or a home office. It's probably wise to leave things as is for now, as from experience I can assure you they come back and may need the assurance of knowing their "stuff" and space is still there.

Though some businesses may seem at a temporary standstill it can actually be a good time for those who deal in antiques, artifacts, & restoration of old cars.

With the Moon in Capricorn semi-square the Aquarius Sun, emotions may be running a bit cold and detached which is useful for getting things done in order to enjoy quiet time later with loved ones. With Saturn (ruler of Capricorn) retrograde in Leo quincunx transiting Mars in Capricorn there is the capacity for lots of hard work, yet there may be some tension with co-workers as changes may have recently been made in one's established work routine with the sudden need to learn new work methods.

While the Balsamic Moon Phase can certainly be about endings, change, and transformation (which all lead to necessary new growth at New Moon time) transiting Saturn = the midpoint of Neptune/Pluto giving us the opportunity to help shape our reality through dreams and creative vizualization. Just be as responsible with the results as you are with what you envision. In other words, choose wisely how and what you spend your hard earned money on.

With transiting Saturn and Mercury retrograde we need to slow down, double-check our schedules (and the weather) in order to allow ourselves and others ample time in meeting obligations. There may be increased sensitivity at this time to fumes, odors, and certain foods, as well as a feeling of restlessness or nervousness.  I find that Lemon Balm/Sage tea with a little Motherwort tincture is wonderfully soothing for jangly nerves.

Instead of pushing oneself too hard, the energy of the Balsamic "Dark of the Moon" phase can be best utilized if you and your loved one take a "time out" to relax, reflect and do some self-care together such as meditation and massage. Sometimes the best gift we can give each other is simply being "present" and truly in the moment for each other.  ~ Valentine's Blessings!  Debi

FULL MOON, FEBRUARY 2nd - 0:45 am, EST
MOON 12LEO59'

Sepharial's translation of La Volasfera indicates that the 13th degree of Leo is "A jutting rock, upon which some tufts of grass hold a thin, but certain existence."  "This indicates a person (or situation) of firm and steadfast character who will resolutely hold to his own beliefs and principles though it sometimes may be to his disadvantage. In some ways the mind may be precocious and there will be some degree of self-assertion shown, and whatever the native may determine upon as the right thing to do will assuredly be done if within the compass of resolute striving. It is a degree of CONSTANCY. "

NEW MOON, JANUARY 18, 11:02 pm, EST
SUN&MOON at 28 CAPRICORN42'

The "La Volasfera", Translated by "Sepharial" indicates that the 29th degree of Capricorn is "A dark & lonely pool overhung by wooded banks". It is a degree of CONTEMPLATION:  In the silence and solitude of his own soul he will enter into an intimate commune with nature and will be blessed with an understanding of her more obscure laws....His mind will be pervaded by a peace which none will be able to disturb. He will walk by the side of Mother Nature and his soul will be lifted to a place of rest."

Saturn, ruler of both this New Moon and transiting Sun is in Leo in the 11th house of friendships conjunct the asteroid Juno, square Vesta, and trine Pluto and Astraea.  Astraea squares the Transneptune Vulcanus, and Apollon (which is conjunct Juno) and also squares the Sun and Moon.

This can indicate a time of feeling strongly compelled to get some sort of closure around a relationship/partnership that may be changing or ending as well as adjusting to relationship or business partnership responsibilities at work. Although one may feel that they must stoically stay in any given situation until the bitter end, one can also realize that as one door closes others may open up. While this can be a time of new growth and new beginnings, one's relationships (of all kinds) must be allowed to change and grow as well while refraining from keeping score or getting even. The deepest "dark of the moon" phase ,which is from the time the Moon goes into the SIGN of the New Moon (Capricorn), which began on 1/16 at 8:49 pm  until the actual time of the New Moon (1/18th at 11:02 pm, est) is when we can do our deepest inner work and contemplation.  The ancient astrologers referred to this as the "time to do the impossible", and if the Moon's degree conjuncts one's part of fortune during this time, so much the better.

You might want to think about taking a walk, then perhaps make yourself something hot/mulled to drink while wrapping up warmly in front of the fire "mulling" over some inner thoughts of your own. Write down the things  you want to "plant" and begin to manifest during this New Moon cycle. Make sure to include any positive changes you may want to make in your relationships/partnerships. ~ Blessings, seacrone

LAST QTR. MOON, JANUARY11, 7:45 am, EST
MOON 20LIBRA54' & SUN 20CAPRICORN54'

Equality vs. Hierarchy

The late Dane Rudhyar felt that during the Last Qtr. Moon phase one is being asked to help break down whatever in oneself or one's community or society no longer positively contributes to evolutionary progress. However, while it can be a time of letting go it is also important to remember to retain what is of essential value and timeless meaning, while engaging in a formative visualization of the future.  Examples of this energy are Albert Einstein, Yoko Ono and Mohandes Gandhi and Marc Edmund Jones who wrote 'The Sabian Symbols in Astrology'. The Sabian Symbol for 21 degrees Cancer is "A Prima Donna Singing" -  a culmination of individual opportunity of an enduring contribution of skill and talent for whatever may entertain the soul's recurrent and constant rediscovery of itself.  The Sabian symbol for 21 degrees Capricorn is "A relay race",  a culmination of group opportunity for the continual enhancement of an individual's skills and talents through cooperation with others...

During this phase of the Moon (in Libra) Venus (ruler of Libra) and Saturn (ruler of the Sun in Capricorn) suggests where understanding and compassion can help soften areas of rigidity. A good time for re-negotiation talks and taking the Boss and the rest of the "team" out to lunch while you wow everyone with your innovative ideas about re-organizing & restructuring. The position of Uranus and the sign of Aquarius in one's chart are also important during this Moon phase as they point out how and where activities can best help one break out of old belief systems and into greater personal awareness and intuition.

JANUARY 3rd, 2007 - FULL MOON (12CANCER48') at 8:57:19 am, EST

According to the La Volasfera (translated by Sepharial) the 13th degree of Cancer is:  A caduceus between two moons, one crescent, and the other gibbous. "It denotes extreme capacity in the pursuit of knowledge, a penetrating mind and retentive memory....The temper is changeful like the moon and subject to hope and despondency of more or less rapid alternation....likely to travel much...chief characteristic is versatility and aptitude in the gaining of knowledge."

During this Full moon, Transneptune ZEUS (controlled energy, fireplaces, fuel, engines, furnaces) in Libra = SUN/MOON.  In this example: Cancer Moon (in 5th house - Creative Mothering) opposes the Creaky Kneed (Saturn ruled) Capricorn Sun as Cranky Junior of few words (Mercury in Capricorn) complains: "Great. How will I get to driver's ed class tonight now that the car needs a new tire?"  Father says, "Why can't you get a ride with one of your friends or walk? I want to conserve on gas. It's not so cold out and the Sun's shining so I can take the motorcycle today. You can use my car today. Pressing on the gas pedal in the car hurts my leg anyways"  Mom: "Since we're all headed in that direction tonite, we can save more fuel if we all go together. Maybe we can cut down on fuel bills even further if we turn down the heat and use the fireplace more. I'll call Patrick and see if he can fix the tire in time to go." All valid ideas, part of everyday life, and worthy of consideration if everyone remembers they are part of a team, be it family, work or otherwise.  Later on, (now having the run of the house and snoring away on the couch), the dogs think "Danged if I care, just let me sleep. Sure hope they remembered to fill our food dish."

Incidentally the "La Volasfera" says this about the 15th degree of Cancer: "A dais on which is set a throne, on the cushion of which is a dog."

Using a Full Moon chart set for Stonington, CT, the transiting Moon (at 12CANCER48') falls in the 5th house of creativity, children, & love, and is also very near the 6th house cusp (at 14CANCER38') of pets, work, health.

The Full Moon is also trine transiting Uranus which can lend exciting domestic changes to an otherwise moody trend. Perhaps a flow of unexpected company or sudden events keeps you on your toes. It can be an emotionally dynamic and independant day for women and can bring interesting people into one's day-to-day activities.

It's an excellent day for real estate which may present sudden marketing advantages and a favorable time for trading and commodities. Maybe you'll even find a great deal on a used car! Tell Patrick (at Import Autos)* that Debi sent ya. ~ Full  Moon Blessings, Seacrone

*(No, I have no vested interest in mentioning Import Autos, but we've enjoyed the 4 cars we've purchased there over the past 15 years, and wouldn't "shop" anywhere else!)

BALSAMIC MOON, DECEMBER 16th, 12:48 pm, EST

MOON 09SCORPIO semi-squares SUN24SAG38'

NEW MOON, DEC. 20th, 9:01 EST (SUN & MOON 28SAG33')

After Friday's intense and volatile emotions the cooling off influence of a Sun-Saturn trine will help slow down  things a bit. Trust can grow once again and along with it tolerance and wisdom. Listening patiently to others thoughts/ideas will be easier now. This Scorpio "Dark of the Moon" is ruled by Pluto, (which represents the archetypal energy of death and re-birth) which is edging (along with the Moon) ever nearer the Galactic Center which is a Black Hole (currently at 26SAG56' and conjunct my North Node).  The GC is 4 million times larger than our Sun and is in the heart of the Milky Way Galaxy. Pluto and the moon will be within alignment of the GC at New Moon time (December 20th) with Pluto making an exact pass on December 28, 2006, July 16, 2007 and October 28, 2007. This is something that only happens every 248 years with the last pass having been in 1758-59, (just prior to the Industrial and American Revolutions). Alex Miller-Mignone writes in his 'The Black Hole Book'* that:.."The G.C. forms a primal polarity with quasar Gaia at 26 Gemini. Energy absorbed and imploded by this black hole core of the galaxy is disgorged by the quasar opposite; the two function as a perfect pipeline for the cosmic round-robin...The G.C. represents both the source and the ending of the journey, the cosmic womb-tomb which birthed our system and which will one day in the far distant future reclaim it. As the Sun is the heart of our local system, so the G.C. is the heart of the Milky Way Galaxy.... As such, the clearest metaphor we might find in myth for the G.C. relates to.... the Sacred Heart of Mary and the Sacred Heart of Jesus. Mary is the sea (Latin- "mare') of the Milky Way Galaxy, from whose matrix Jesus (Greek -'ichthys" - fish), the planetary logos of the Christ Consciousness is born. Gregg Castellucci has compared the G.C. to the Hebrew YHWH(Yahweh), the nameless name, source of the I Am presence....The G.C. emits massive amounts of infrared radiation, which Philip Sedgwick describes as both "arousing the subconcious portion of the brain" and providing "intense stimulation of the root chakra creating some uneasiness or tension"....Alex Mignone further writes that "The pulsar at 24 SAG, two degrees before the G.C. provides information relating to the past of an event; at 28 Sag, two degrees after provides information relating to the future of an event. Those with connections on either side of the G.C. will more naturally tend to orient information in one of these two directions. Balance may be sought by meditation with the alternate point, using the G.C. as the fulcrum between past and future...Lying as it does just 4 degrees from the Winter Solstice Point, which surely is no coincidence, the G.C. provides a convenient frame of reference for aligning with cosmic counsciousness. When the Sun makes one of its seasonal ingresses, it is within days/degrees of a major aspect to the G.C. These two frames of reference will come into alignment in the middle years of the 3rd century of the next millenium, when the G.C. moves to conjoin the Solstice Point of 0 Capricorn".

FULL MOON, DECEMBER 4th at 7:25 pm EST

MOON 12GEM43’ and SUN 12SAG42

This can be a playful, sensitive and caring time of feeling safe and nurtured by our friends and other groups of people. However since both the Sun and Moon are squaring Uranus there is also a tendency towards being impulsive and stubborn, determined to do things “your way” which when used in a positive way can be good for leadership ability. While Saturn trine Pluto does help give the ability to motivate both self and others and lends power to carrying out your plans, with Saturn opposing Neptune one also needs to follow through on their creative projects. While Mercury square Saturn can result in being stuck in traffic or tied up in meetings, Mercury conjunct Jupiter favors good judgment, writing, teaching and discussions with financial/business partners. There can be opportunities for thought provoking discussions – a great time for forthright and powerful communication when one can discuss big ideas and plans. Mars conjunct Jupiter lends generous self confidence and dignity amongst helpful, loyal friends. With Mars square Saturn one needs to overcome the rather "stop and go" energy of this aspect by developing a consistant controlled energy level. Some may be experiencing the drama and intensity of Venus conjunct Pluto as feeling pressured into having to attend obligatory family/social holiday parties (with the usual temptation for some of too much drinking and/or food). Grace, diplomacy and compromise may need to be employed in order to keep the peace.

Venus trine Saturn is a good time for visiting your elders, cleaning the garage, filing, painting the porch (weather permitting), etc. With the approaching trine to Neptune and Chiron, there can be an opportunity for gentle caring and calmness for healing, coming to terms with (and sharing) painful past experiences while feeling compassion for another’s pain.

Since there is a preponderance of the fire and water elements but no earth during this Full Moon, a nice way to stay grounded while all the chatter and hot air is flying around is to dig your hands into some dirt and re-pot one of your plants that has outgrown it’s container, “throw” some clay and make a pot, or knead some dough while making bread (which you can share with someone from the past who just might pop up at this time). Don’t forget to turn the music or DVD player up, since they might just bring over a C.D. or a movie!  ~ Blessings! Debi

NEW MOON, NOVEMBER 20th, 5:17:57 pm EST

Sun and Moon at 29Scorpio

A Spiritual Crossroads

Scorpio new moon at 5:17:57 pm EST, conjuncts Jupiter and goes void of course at 6:54 pm and enters Sagittarius at 8:15 pm. The 29th degree is an anaretic degree where the energy of a particular sign (in this case Scorpio) has gone all the way thru a sign gaining intensity as it aspects other points in one’s chart. It dually contains the sign it’s in as well as the sign which follows. There may be the feeling that one can’t get enough of someone or something, or there’s too much or too little just before a change is about to take place. Scorpio rules physical needs, but is also spiritual. One’s physical needs must also answer ones moral codes. With both the Sun, Moon and Jupiter at this degree of Scorpio, there may be too much or too little emotional pleasure as one struggles realizing that  while the soul requires the involvement of others in expressing oneself, one must also be able to let go of others when the time comes.

Charubel characterizes the 29th degree of Scorpio as “A man with a bow and arrow in the act of taking aim at some object in the distance.” Sounds like this man was indeed taking careful aim and looking forward to letting his arrow of  experience/new inspiration fly into the sign of Sagittarius. By letting go of any doubts and fears that may have built up and by carefully choosing the wisdom  we wish to retain from the sum of our experience as the planetary line-up finishes in Scorpio over the next week, we will feel optimistic hope begin to rise once again as the Moon moves into Sagittarius later tonite. Time to take that leap of faith! The Sun conjuncts Jupiter on Tuesday afternoon and enters Sagittarius at 6:02 am on Wednesday followed by Mercury (10Scorpio49) trine Uranus in Pisces (which stationed direct on the 19th) helping to break up any inspirational logjams.  ~ Blessings, Debi (seacrone)

BALSAMIC MOON, OCT.17th, 9:38 pm EST
Moon: 9VIRGO33', Sun: 24LIBRA32'

With the Moon now 45 degrees behind the Sun and beginning it's "Dark Moon" phase we begin to turn inwards and mull over what we have created during the last New Moon to Full Moon phase(s) and decide what kernel/seed we wish to glean in order to plant at the New Moon time (Oct. 22nd).  We decide what to keep and what to toss out.  The Sabian Symbol for the Sun is "Info in the symbol of an Autumn Leaf".  The ASC (set for Stonington/Mystic, CT) is 01CANCER18'. From Sepharial's translation of La Volasfera we find that this degree symbolizes "A well-fruited vine hanging upon an old wall beneath the sunshine. What apt symbols for this time of year here in New England. The Sabian Symbol for this Balsamic Moon is "Two heads looking out beyond the shadows." Mercury sextile Saturn and trine Neptune emphasizes loyal and faithful partners who are sensitive and compassionate, able to stick it out for the long haul. Charubel refers to this Moon's degree as "The Mundane Cross: A student of Nature's mysteries; a lover of the sublime, an author, or revealer of the strange and curious." With Mercury conjunct Jupiter it will indeed be a talkative time with a thirst for more knowledge.

While this can also be a meticulous, discriminating and hardworking time, it's also a passionate time, and we must remember to employ even handedness and diplomacy tempered with a strong sense of fairness in dealing with others. With the Fire element weak during this moon, we might at first find it difficult to get self-motivated, operating instead from a more philosophical mind stance since the Air Element is strong right now. However, once we do get started, with the Sun conjunct Mars we can become energetic & impulsive needing constructive outlets.  The Sun is also conjunct Venus which helps us to be more gentle and loving in our self-expression while enjoying the company of others. With the Sun in sextile aspect to Saturn and Pluto we get the chance to take on more responsibilities in our work and prove ourselves with the abilitity to express power in a positive manner and the opportunity to renew our vitality when necessary. Jupiter square Saturn reminds us not to compare ourselves so much to others, but to instead believe in ourselves.  Jupiter square Neptune lends artistic talent, but only if we stay self-disciplined and reminds us not to be careless with money. Saturn Trine Pluto gives us the ability to succeed in motivating ourselves and others and to carry our plans out to completion.  Make sure you make yourself clear to others as this can be a time when it is difficult to pin others, or yourself down in order to communicate your thoughts clearly. The Moon trine the asteroid Pallas Athena (with the midpoint of Transneptune Poseidon) we have the perfect time for "scrying" using mirrors or a bowl of water. Also a good time to ponder the link between our emotions and the body and what kind of structure and order our Mother(s) may have provided. Ceres in Aquarius/9th house teaches us to nurture ourselves and others by acquiring knowledge of the world thru music, travel, sharing and teaching. With the South Node in Virgo and North Node in Pisces at this time we are reminded not to become stuck on any one certain idea but to move from a judgmental, perhaps critical stance towards one of empathy and sympathy for others. Jupiter square the Point of Fortune teaches us that "living as a shining example to others will bring your fulfillment.."  ~Blessings, Debi

FULL MOON, OCTOBER 6, 2006 11:13 PM EST

Stonington/Mystic, CT, 41N20'09" 071W54'23"
ASC 12 CANCER38', MH 21 PISCES16'
SUN13LIBRA43', MOON13ARIES43'

The Aries/Libra (4th/10th house) polarity of this Full Moon can be an emotionally tense time of juggling will/emotions versus balancing the needs of home, family, work and other roles one plays in life. There is the need to develop more self-awareness as to how one meets and accepts others and adapts to their daily routines with the usual ups and downs. While during this time communication can be transformed by the ability to cut through to the heart of the matter, adjustments will need to be made in one's environment. The challenge is transfering nervous energy into creativity while finding a way to honor one another's need for freedom and movement while remaining committed to one's spiritual life.  Laughter helps to lighten the atmosphere.

Saturn/Neptune=Jupiter at 19SCORPIO42'.  Sephariel's La Volesfera indicates that 20 degrees of Scorpio is the degree of ILLUMINATION, with the symbol being "The Sun rising upon the ocean waters".  Working hand in hand with one's higher conciousness while tuning into the spiritual undercurrents of this Full Moon can bring fortunate answers from meditation and inner dialogue.  Singers and songwriters may find greater inspiration for writing song lyrics, and with Venus/Mars = Sun, dancers may find greater ease in mastering their graceful movements. Those who teach or write using ancient symbols may find their work being met with greater understanding. With Mercury conjunct the Transneptune Poseidon, some may find themselves wanting to do more spiritual reading, writing, journaling, thinking or debating as well as taking a different more creative approach to the lighting/mirrors in their home. Venus conjunct Transneptune Zeus in the 4th house is great for cooking (lots of toasted marshmallows or fondues), jewelry making and stained glass work, as well as assessing the electrical conductivity of your oven and power tools.

With the SUN/MOON = ASC, the ASC acts as a conductor of vitality through the body, and with the ARIES/LIBRA polarity of the SUN and MOON both squaring the ASC, overall health and stamina should be kept up by eating properly with the focus being on the acid/alkaline balance, PH & mineral  balances withing the body.

SATURN/NEPTUNE = JUPITER can indicate allergies, chemical sensitivity/toxicity of liver/pancreas.  However Jupiter is sextile the asteroid Hygeia at this time with the Sun trine Ceres and then Neptune making this a good time for incorporating more natural foods into your diet (along with some relaxing music) and mothering our children and friends while keeping an eye on/tweaking their/our daily regimen and diet. I might try starting the day off during this aspect with something alkaline like parsley tea or a little potato broth followed by some whole-grain bread and cereal.  The GLA found in Black Currant Seed oil is useful for protecting the liver from toxins. Personally, I have found Spelt bread, probiotics in Kefir Milk and the enzymes papain and bromelain helpful in maintaining my digestive tract's health.  As the weather gets cooler I'll be making sure everyone at my house is eating more dark green leafies (such as Kale) and orange veggies like sweet potatoes and squash.  Don't forget to try out the yummy Portuguese Kale Soup on the "Writes and Recipes" page.

The Sun conjunct Venus & trine Ceres tonight helps us to develop gratitude for the land, the bountiful harvest and for our loved ones who help sustain us. Why not make a fire, bake some bread, have a few friends over for a warm Harvest Supper, and enjoy this Wonder-Full Moon?   Blessings, Debi (Seacrone)

HAPPY SPRING (ARIES)EQUINOX!
Monday, March 20th at 1:26 pm (EST)March 20th - 26th Forecast
From out of watery, dreamlike Pisces we emerge, newborn again, as the Sun moves into Spring and firey Aries with a Sagittarius Moon. Looking for adventure? Feeling reckless? Perhaps find some sort of outlet where you can be as boisterous as you like and/or sing to your heart's content before the more sober/serious Capricorn moon (Wednesday at 10:36 am (EST) forms a Last Qtr square to the Sun. Will all the new season's enthusiam and youthful exuberance hold up to the Capricorn's Moon no-nonsense style, or listen to it's wisdom? One may find they may have the room (and energy) enough for both.  However, don't overdo or promise more than you can deliver on Thursday as Moon goes Void of Course 6:30 pm(est). Time to get back on track Friday by staying focused when the Sun semi-squares Neptune noontime (est). Moon enters the sign of Aquarius on Friday at 2:21 pm (est) adding to all the quirkiness, but lends some understanding to things. The early Saturday morning (2:04 am) Sun - Saturn (4Aries30' - Leo) trine gives some nice structure to what may have been a rather confusing & uncertain couple of days. The rest of Saturday holds the potential for much romantic joy as Venus conjuncts Neptune towards the end of the day with Mars trining Neptune and Mercury turning direct in Pisces. Great day for art, music, getting your boat ready for the water, films, photography, etc. Also helps ensure there's not too much fall out from all the excessive eating/drinking which may have occured with the Venus- Jupiter square earlier in the day. But if you do overindulge, there will be little sympathy Sunday morning as Mars semi-squares Saturn. Later, all is forgiven as the Moon enters Pisces at 3:33 pm (est) and Venus trines Mars at 9:41 pm (19Aquarius-Gemini).  Snuggle down, watch the sunset over the lake, take in a movie, laugh and don't forget to play! ~ Seacrone

NEW MOON PHASE MAY 8th 4:45 am (EDT)
SUN AND MOON AT 17TAURUS52'

Happy Mother's Day!

The Taurus new moon arrives early morn on Mother's Day with Mercury Trining Pluto a few hours later at 7:58 am. This aspect can bring the kind of forceful communication that can help one easily get cooperation from others.  So Moms, go ahead and tell the kids and your mate to get their own breakfast and bring yours to you in bed! Someone will be insisting on their own plans anyway this morning, so it might as well  be you! The Moon sextiles Saturn at 1:10 pm which gives the opportunity to improve family and domestic realtionships. You will be able to come up with practical solutions to organizing and maintaining your home and may find that you will be lending a hand to others who may be older, weaker or in need. Be nice...help Grandma set out the pretty azalea bush you brought her, be supportive of all the women in your life and their goals. Give them some time and space of their own.

This New Moon in Taurus is ruled by the planet Venus. Taurus loves the good life and creature comforts, so no doubt many of us will be enjoying dining out today with family.  Whatever natal house in your natal chart contains the degree of the New Moon (17Taurus52') and any aspects it makes to other planets will be the area most influenced during this New Moon phase. Also check to see where your natal Venus is located.

WINTER SOLSTICE, (CAPRICORN INGRESS)DECEMBER 21st at 7:42 am(EST)

While everyone at this time may be thinking, planning, communicating in a more thoughtful, composed way with home, hearth and security paramount in their minds, this year's Winter Solstice also ushers in the opportunity of being able to put aside cultural differences. Many may find while they may prefer the company
